plz provide examples of vessels and ways its controlled. really need help with ma revision, plz HELP!

Blood vessels are lined by smooth muscles.  Thses muscles can expand or contract increasing or decreasing the volume inside the vessel.

During a moment of panic your body will release chemicals to stretch your blood vessels allowing for maximum blood flow so that your muscles will have the oxygen they need to run or fight.

Alternatively, if you have suffered from blood loss, your body can constrict the vessels to make up for lost blood pressure.

These are just two examples but there are many others.
