How can I relate the smooth endoplasmic reticulum and the rough endoplasmic reticulum to everyday things?

i'm working on an analogy project.

The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is used as a pathway for transporting molecules within the cell.  Think of something that is used a route for transporting things in your everyday world...

The rough ER has ribosomes attached to it.  The ribosomes are where the proteins are made.  Think of something that makes things...

im working on the same thing
fot the Rough ER i put assembly line cuz that kinda were all the ribosomes assemble the protiens and the ER modifies them to the cell's liking
but for the Smooth ER im kinda lost
