I believe the usage of direct email to members is being abused.

There should be a credit limit to allow sending emails directly OR for every email sent, credits are removed (i.e. 5 credits per email sent).

As of 9/1/2016, this feature has been implemented.

All direct messages take away 3 credits (subject to change)

You need at least 3 credits (subject to change) to send direct messages.
