It depends on what the F1 generation is and whether it's a monohybrid or dihybrid cross. Assuming that it is a monohybrid cross, If a dominant parent was mated with a recessive parent, then all their offspring would be heterozygous for a given trait. This means that, as bio_man said, each F1 organism would produce gametes that were half Y and half y (because we are looking at a monohybrid cross of a heterozygous F1)
