In a lab I found out that .5 grams of salt increased the catalase's reaction the most. .5 grams was close to the amount of salt we have in our blood, but I still didn't understand how it affected the reaction rate of the catalase.

If it increases the reaction rate, then you can conclude that it affects the catalase enzyme.

Yes, I understand that but how did the .5 grams of salt affect the catalase? If too little and too much salt in the catalase denatures them, than why is it that the amount of salt closest to the human's body increased the reaction rate?
