In one tracer experiment glucose is labeled with C13 at its C1 [the carbon one, (which carbon
C1?)]. The glucose is used to feed yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae that ferments it into
ethanol. Assuming all glucose fed becomes fermented to ethanol, how many percent of the
C13 will appear in which carbon of ethanol? How many percent appears in carbon dioxide?

C13 is an isotope of carbon. The carbon-1 is shown below. Sorry I totally missed your question.
