Given that the pH of a Benzoic Acid solution is 3.00, calculate the ratio of dissolved Benzoic Acid to Benzoate ion at equilibrium.  K_a for Benzoic Acid is 6.46×〖10〗^(-5).


a. If the pH is 6.00, what is this ratio


b. Why would a lower pH be preferred for precipitating out Benzoic Acid
