The various sources that lead to deviations from Hardy- Weinberg Equilibrium are non-random mating, mutations, selection, migration and so on. But I'm not able to understand the mathematical derivations that relate to the deviations. Much help needed please!

The hardy-Weinberg formula doesn't take into account these variables, hence it's simplicity.

The Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium condition is an ideal situation. Because in reality, we know it is completely different. An ideal condition like that stated in the H-W Equilibrium is not possible due to deviations from the equilibrium condition. So how do these deviations affect the gene frequency of a population?
