A wet mount may be used for quick examination of fecal samples.  Is this most useful for identifying protozoa or bacterial parasites?  Briefly explain.

Not for bacteria b/c of their size. Wet mounts account for poor contrast between cells and background, which can be really important if you're determining cell morphology. Some stains are differential and are useful/necessary in microbial identification (i.e., the Gram stain).
Don't forget to give me a thumbs up!
