Detailed Information

1. Application
  Mainly used for the separation of the pathogens in food, water and other environmental samples.
2. Detection Principle
The Immunomagnetic Bead (IMB)’ surface is coated with specific antibodies which can bind the pathogens specifically in sample. By the external magnetic field, the IMBs and pathogens are formed complexes of IMB-antibodies-pathogens. The complexes are attracted by magnet and stranded in the buffer to achieve the rapid enrichment and separation of the foodborne pathogens.
3. Features
  (1) The product is a composite microsphere, composed by magnetic Fe3O4 nanocrystal which uniformly dispersed in the polystyrene. It is superparamagnetic to ensure the rapid separation of the targets.
  (2) IMBs’ diameter is smaller than 1µm, distributing uniformly in the reaction solution. The targets are coated with specific antibodies to ensure the efficient separation results.
  (3) IMBs’ diameter and size is uniform to ensure the repeatability of magnetic separation process.
