Which choice best describes the polarity of BrI5?

A polar bond will occur when it is between atoms with differing electronegativities.   A polar molecule will occur when the overall pull on the electrons in the bonds in a molecule are not pulling symmetrically.  Br is more electronegative than I so the bonds will be slightly polar.  BrF5 is symmetrical so the overal polarity of the molecule is zero.

2-The molecule is nonpolar and has polar bonds.
