How do you do problems with like these? For example a tube is separated by a selectively permeable membrane which doesn't let sucrose pass through. One side has .4m glucose .2m sucrose the other side has .2m sucrose and glucose. How do you approach these problem

Eventually there are to be a balance of the solute it is permeable to.

For example, the membrane in the example you provide allows glucose through. Therefore, the glucose will flow to the side where there is less.
