Extended thinking. Increasing the meaningfulness of material must involve the use of information already stored in the learner's long-term memory. Using the information processing model, explain why one strategy you described above would involve both: (1) the flow of information from short-term memory to long-term memory, AND (2) the flow of information from long-term memory to short-term memory.
