I know what molarity is, and I know what molality is, but I don't know how to go from molality to molarity.

Molar = mol/ Liters
molal = mol/ kg
density = kg/L

if mol = mol
 M x L = m x kg
 M = m x (kg/L)
 M = m x density

m = molality
M = Molarity

Kgv = mass of solvent

Kgu =  mass of solute

GFM = gram formula mass in Kilograms

m = ( Kgu / GFM ) / Kgv

V = volume in liters of solution

Molarity =  ( Kgu  /  GFM  ) /  V

m = ( Kgu /  GFM ) / Kgv The volume of this solution can be calculated from its Mass if we know its density. We know the total mass of this solution because it is the sum of the Kgu + Kgv. The mass of a solution is equal to the sum of the mass of solute and mass of solvent.

Knowing the mass  and the density of the solution . Calculate its volume.

 M = ( Kgu / GFM ) / V
