1 -- Beta-blockers alone may be contraindicated in glaucoma treatment in patients with COPD. An adrenergic agonist may be prescribed along with a beta-blocker or if beta-blockers are contraindicated, as for patients with heart failure, asthma, or COPD. Calcium channel blockers would not be useful in treating glaucoma. Glaucoma is not caused by infection, so antibiotics are not useful.
