The difference between analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) is that
A) a MANCOVA can have more than one dependent variable; an ANCOVA cannot.
B) a MANCOVA can have more than one independent variable; an ANCOVA cannot.
C) with an ANCOVA, variables can be partialled out; with a MANCOVA, they cannot.
