When u throw an object vertically up, does it take the same amount of time to reach the max. height as to fall from max. height to the starting point? If yes, will that be true for objects that are in projectile motion? Thanks.

In the absence of air friction, the only thing acting on an object thrown is gravity.
the initial velocity upward will be equal to the velocity down at the same point of departure.

In projectile motion, no difference, even though an object will land farther away, the only thing acting on it will be gravity, in the downward direction.

No, it takes longer because of air drag.
