DNA sequencing is the process of determining the precise order of nucleotides within a DNA molecule. It includes any method or technology that is used to determine the order of the four bases—adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine—in a strand of DNA. For this case  sequencing served to identify  similar base sequences or differences within the known tiger amplicon samples and the unknown samples in order to rule out if truly the illegal market for tiger exists and also determine if those unknown samples where from tiger DNA. Because as well they could be not unless sequencing is facilitated. Sequencing is the heart of forensic science since gives out reliable facts as evidences.
