In science we're working on evolution and adaptations and stuff like that. I'm making a list of the top ten craziest, kookiest, weirdest, or funniest adaptations that animals have. Just put whatever adaptation you think is neat or interesting please! :]

The bee orchid is a flower that looks like a bee, so other bees will pollinate it.

The Jesus lizard can run on water to evade it's predators.

The Archer Fish shoots pellets of water at it's prey to knock them into the water and stun them.

The Water Spider makes air pockets and lives it's entire life underwater.

Elysia crispata (lettuce sea slug) evolved to incorporate chloroplasts from the algae it eats into its body. By maturity, they can last quite a while on sunlight alone (at least a month I believe). They have also evolved to pass some of their chloroplasts to their offspring. This makes them one of the few photosynthetic animals. Pretty cool if you ask me.
