In certain breeds of dogs, two different sets of alleles determine the color pattern. Black color is dominant and red color is recessive; solid color is dominant and white spotting is recessive. A homozygous black-and-white spotted male is crossed with a red-and-white spotted female. What is the probability of them producing a solid black colored puppy?
