You embed an object in a document, rather than link it, when you want to:
A) store the embedded object in its own file and simply tie it to the Word document.
B) make changes to the source file and have the object in Word be updated automatically.
C) make sure that the object does not appear directly in the Word document.
D) make editing changes directly to the embedded object.
