In the Philippines, the older ones would say that ORANGE-COLORED vegetables improves eyesight. I have no proof of this but you might want to try it out.

After all, vegetables is good for the body.....

Any food rich in Vitamin A. This is, as another answerer said, the orange food group. Carrots etc.
Vitamin A deficiency leads to impaired night vision.

Yeh, like some people have said, carrots and other orange coloured foods.

They contain Vitamin A. Vitamin A is precursor to retinol. Retinol is one of the two molecules needed to make the substance in rods in the eyes. Rods are used to detect the amount of white light, and work in lower light levels.

So, if you eat lots of carrots, get lots of vitamin A, and so more retinol can be made. So, more of the chemical in rods is made, and you can see better in the dark.
