Why might nondisjunction produce more serious effects on the population if it were present in gametes produced by a male rather then in gametes produced by a female?

a) Fewer eggs (ova) are produced than sperm

b) An egg mother cell (oogonium) divides twice, but a sperm mother cell (spermatogonium) divides only once.

c) An egg mother cell (oogonium) divides equally, but a sperm mother cell (spermatogonium) divides unequally.

d) An egg (ovum) is larger then a sperm

I really have no idea how to answer this question, any help would be appreciated   Slight Smile

What's up all -  I'm a recently registered member on this bulletin board so I would say I should mention a couple things about myself. Well, I am 26 years of age, a guy, plus I read maths at my college. I truly hope chatting with all you guys... Farewell for now
