ah, sorry the third option should be read as:

Enzymes in the smooth ER detoxify water-soluble compounds into lipid-soluble compounds, so they can be removed by the body.

2. The smooth ER membrane is continuous with the Golgi apparatus membrane.
3. Enzymes in the smooth ER detoxify water-soluble compounds into lipid-soluble compounds, so they can be removed by the body. [It's actually the opposite, hydroxyl groups are added so that they become water soluble.]
4. There is an equal concentration of enzymes responsible for lipid synthesis in both leaflets of the smooth ER membrane.
