Changing conditions within the marketplace, such as the intensity of competition, the availability of copycat products, the need to constantly reduce costs, and the speed with which innovative products are introduced, necessitates a strong buyer-seller partnership.  Selling organizations must be willing to invest time and money into finding good solutions.  Today's buyer is much more informed.  Partnership selling is an extension of relationship selling.  It involves a strategically developed, long-term relationship to sell products, provide comprehensive after-sales service, and encourage effective two-way communications to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
