HI, some things to consider

If a person shows a trait that is dominant then at least one of their parents must always show the trait.

If both parents show a recessive trait, then all children must show that trait too.

A person can only show a recessive trait if both of his parents carried at least one copy each of the recessive allele. The parents do not need to show the trait, as one copy is not enough to reveal it, but they must both carry it.
