At the end of the Council of Trent, the Catholic Church argued that
 
  a. through the doctrine of papal infallibility, there was no need to change course.
  b. all Protestants were heretics who should be brought back to the church by persuasion or force.
  c. salvation was accomplished through faith, works, and sacraments.
  d. indulgences were not religiously valid.
  e. None of these.
