This doesn't answer the full question, but here's a link to a very easy to understand explanation of the differences between the first 2 types of muscle fibers.
Fast- sprint
Slow-Cycling

I think in order for us to really understand each of these types of fibers, we should first understand what each means. According to (Martini & Nath, 2013), the fast fibers are, “dense and have a large glycogen content. These fibers can reach a muscle twitch tension of 0.01, when using the simulation. They also move very quickly.”

The slow fibers, “these fibers tend to have a high level of endurance, over power. They have a lower power strength, but can handle more endurance than other fibers. On a muscle twitch, simulation the peak tension for this fiber after simulation is faster than 0.1” (Martini & Nath, 2013).

The intermediate fibers, “are similar to fast fibers, they have a light color, and little myoglobin. The intermediate fibers are both powerful and low on fatigue. This means they will not slow down as easily, because they are more resistant to fatigue” (Martini & Nath, 2013).
