Hi guys! This is my 1st post here, sorry if I am posting it not to the appropriate category.
I am actually building a kinetic model (scheme) for systems biology needs(with matlab), and I have encountered some problems when calibrating my model with wet biological data.
I am concerned with HIF1(1 part of transcription factor HIF) and since it can be found in nucleus and cytoplasm, I would like to ask:
1) whether Western Blotting data provide information of all HIF1a in a cell (or cells?), or WB can be done for nucleus and cytoplasm independently. Usually nothing is said in the papers.
2) If WB is for all cells, which data would be better for calibration if I want to analyze single-cell dynamics?  I suppose it can be Mass spectroscopy, but I do not have any idea how to find it on the internet. Maybe there are open data web sites?
Thanks to all in advance!
