Definition for Bushmeat

Bushmeat is meat from wild animals hunted in Africa and Asia. The term has particularly been used to refer to meat from animals in West and Central Africa. Today the term is often used to refer to a wider range of countries and especially in reference to the hunting of endangered ape (such as gorillas) species.
