Prairie Style in architecture (early 20th century) is a style singular to the architect Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959). The style relies on strong horizontal lines, in imitation of the flatness of the American prairies, and insists on the integration of the context of the building and the creation of indoor space that is an extension of outdoor space.
