The nerve ending that relay all the information about the musculoskeletal system to the central nervous systems are called Proprioceptors. Proprioceptor is the source of all proprioception, which are relating to body position and movement. The Proprioceptor detects any changes in physical displacement (movement or position) and any changes in tension, or force within the body. They are found in all nerve ending of the joints, muscles, and tendons. The Proprioceptor related to stretching which are located in the tendons and in the muscle fibers.
