Definition for Torsional strain

1) Torsional strain is the resistance to bond twisting. In cyclic molecules, it is also called Pitzer strain.
2) Destabilisation due to the repulsion between pairs of bonds caused by the electrostatic repulsion of the electrons in the bonds.
