The nurse reminds a patient that to be diagnosed with hypertension, the blood pressure is evaluated to confirm consistent blood pressure readings over:
1.   120/80 mm Hg.
2.   130/90 mm Hg.
3.   140/90 mm Hg.
4.   150/100 mm Hg.


This is for my medical nursing class

Official diagnosis of hypertension is dependent on a period of observation during which the BP is consistently over 140/90 mm Hg.
