A car speeds up from rest, along a straight highway. Its acceleration is unchanging. How much further (measured from the starting point) does it get in 10 s, as compared with 1 s? How much faster is it moving in 10 s, as compared with 1 s?

a) x = ½a*t² → 100 times as far

b) v = a*t → 10 times as fast
