First determine the equivalent resistance in the circuit. Next, find the total current in the circuit. By knowing the total resistance and current in the circuit, you can calculate the voltage across any resistor by using Ohm's Law, V = IR.
For two resistors in series, the equivalent resistance (R) is:
R = R1 + R2
R = 650 ? + 2200 ?
R = 2850 ?

The total current in the circuit is:
V = IR
12 V = I*2850 ?
I = 0.004211 amps

So the voltage across the 2200 ? resistor is:
V = IR
V = (0.004211 amps)*(2200 ?)
==> V = 9.26 volts
