Freon is one of the chlorinated fluorocarbons, like the fire extinguisher Halon, and is a Dupont Chemical brand name. From what I have read, it appears that it might be very difficult to make Freon burn, because it is an inert gas and very nonreactive.

when freon burns it produces mustard gs that is one of the reasons we are trying to get ride of it if you could make a nice gas bomb by using it
