Electromagnetic guns use the + and - side of magnetic fields to pull and push and object down a set of rails or guides to achieve maximum speed.  I am wondering what is the maximun speed that has been achieved since the mid 70's for most all of the information has been taken down or made not available and since I no longer have the "need to know" would like just the basic information.  Thanks In Advance.
