Can insulators be charged by induction or only by friction. If a negatively charged object is brought near any insulator would it acquire a positive charge? If yes then HOW?? it is an insulator-no free electrons only conductors can be charged via induction.right? If i bring a -vely charged ballon near a wall will the wall get a +ve charge?
