OK, I know I read some articles on this in the past, but I can't find them. Does anyone know where a person can find an online article talking about times when speciation has occured in the lab? I seem to remember something about roses, and another about fruit flies where the resulting fruit flies lived ten times longer, ate half as much, and were harder to kill.

Yes there are examples of speciation, such as cute little guppies.
