wavelength lambda = 12400 / E = 12400 / 2.63 = 4715 angstroms.

   frequency of this light is  f = C / lambda = 3x10^8 / 4.715 x10^-7 = 6.363 x10^14 Hz.

  and this frequency corresponds to the visible part of E.M spectrum.

Using the Plank equation for Photon energy, E = hf ..
(E in Joules, h= Plank constant 6.63^-34Js, f = photon frequency)

E = 2.63eV = 2.63 x 1.60^-19 J/eV = 4.20^-19 J

f = E / h .. .. 4.20^-19 / 6.63^-34 .. .. .. ?f = 6.347^14 Hz

? = vel of light / f .. .. 3.0^8 m/s / 6.347^14Hz .. .. ?? = 4.727^-7 m .. Blue
