The pill begins its journey from mouth and it is mixed with saliva and digested through mechanical action of chewing, it then enters throat and enters pharynx reaches stomach via esophagus, From stomach it travels to small intestine and large intestine where the nutrients are absorbed and finally the waste is excreted via the anus.

To be more precise Mouth→esophagus→stomach→duodenum→jejenum →ileum→cecum→colon→rectum→anus
