The monthly cost of driving a car depends on the number of miles driven. Lynn found that in May her driving cost was $300 for -200 mi and in June her cost was $500 for 800 mi. Assume that there is a linear relationship between the monthly cost C of driving a car and the distance driven d.

(a) Find a linear equation that relates C and d.
(b) Use part (a) to predict the cost of driving 1300 mi per month.

Please also explain how you got the answers. I need as much help as I can get with this question. I don't understand it at all and I have a quiz on it tomorrow!!!
Thank you soo much Tom!!!

I also need a graph for it. Is it possible to help me with that too or not? =/
