Ocean life appears to be affected by a relatively small number of variables such as temperature, density, available sunlight, available nutrients. If any one of these variables changes how do you think it might it impact the human food web?

The oceans are huge so it would be difficult to change the entire food web but human activities and natural events must impact parts of our food web often. Climate change will shift the major temperature zones. As the population increases, those impacts are likely to increase also and it is possible that there will be major losses of food that could cause a famine or dietary hardship for some parts of the human population. It would make sense to know as much as possible about our food sources before we make a fatal mistake.
