What happened that changed the color of the pH indicator? Remember that glucose broth contains more than just glucose.

"You inoculated your tube of phenol red glucose broth and incubated it at 37 degrees celsius overnight. The next day, you observe that the broth is now yellow, but you were busy texting your significant other and left the tube in the incubator instead of discarding it. A few days later, you remember that you left the tube there, run back to the lab and now see that instead of yellow, the tube is red-pink."
