The Falkland Islands  are an archipelago in the South Atlantic Ocean on the Patagonian Shelf. The principal islands are about 300 miles (500 km) east of the southern Patagonian coast, at a latitude of about 52°S. The archipelago, with an area of 4,700 square miles (12,200 km²), comprises East Falkland, West Falkland and 776 smaller islands. As a British overseas territory, the Falklands have internal self-governance, with the United Kingdom taking responsibility for their defence and foreign affairs. The islands' capital is Stanley, on East Falkland.

The solar zenith angle or the angle of sun in sky is the angle measured from directly overhead to the geometric centre of the sun's disc, as described using a horizontal coordinate system.

The basic changes in the angle of the Sun in the sky as time progresses from January to December:

The basic changes in the   length of the dayas time progresses from January to December:

Conclusion: The Solar Angle on Frankland increses from January till June and then decreases till December. The length of the day over the island decreases from January till June and then increases till December.
