1.      It is already clear that the surface purpose of the speech is to get the football players to act as a team in order to win the game, now name the purpose under the surface. What do the writers of the film want from the larger movie-going audience? Name the specific thought action or behavior.
2.      Which rhetorical tools does the speaker use in this speech? Name the tool and then show the quote that represents the tool.
3.      Discuss the metaphor of the “inches” in the text. Find every instance where inches is introduced and discuss what those inches mean. When he says,for example, “The inches we need are everywhere around us,in every break of the game…” what does he mean by “inches in this instance”
