Does dasatinib damage DNA further?

Does dasatinib damage DNA further or does it just kill off cancer cells and cells whose DNA has been damaged?

Dasatinib works by switching off (inhibiting) tyrosine kinase (an enzyme) and this causes the cancer cells to die.
