B   Being able to understand the thoughts and feelings of another is an example of perspective taking, so when Julianne is able to see the mother’s task as burdensome, she was demonstrating this. Prosocial behavior describes her asking what she can do to help. Empathy would be involved if Julie felt what her mother was feeling (experiencing her emotions).
