Can anyone help me PLEASE! I attempted 100 review problems, and these are the 14 problems I couldn't figure out. I did however tried attempting them. Anyone who is good in Biology/Genetics and can help me, I would really appreciate it. I'd like to know that I have the answers to all 100 problems so I can review for my exam. Thank you so much and thank you for trying to help me.

1) Prokaryotic genes are organized in a polycistronic manner, meaning there may be more than one gene per promoter.
A. True
B. False

2) In the lac operon, LacI repressor unbinds DNA because of the presence of
A. CRP, also known as CAP
B. cAMP
C. Allolactose
D. RNA Polymerase

3) If a culture of E. coli is growing in media containing equal amounts of glucose and lactose, the lac operon will be expressed at high levels.
A. True
B. False

4) A mutation in the lacI gene causes a non-functional LacI protein to be made.  This mutated LacI can not bind the operator, so the operon is constitutively on.
A.True
B. False

5) In attenuation, formation of the which loop signals translation to continue.
A. 1 and 2 loop
B. 2 and 3 loop
C. 3 and 4 loop
D. None of the above

6) In the ara operon, arabinose binds AraC and causes it to:
A. Dissociate completely from DNA
B. Change conformation such that transcription is slowed
C. Bind Operator 1, thereby blocking transcription
D. Bind I1 and I2 instead of Operator 2 and I1 to activate transcritpion

7) trpL leader sequence encodes two tryptophan molecules in a row
A. True
B. False

8) Eukaryotic genes are regulated by all of the following EXCEPT:
A. Organization of histones
B. Activator proteins
C. Repressor proteins
D. All of the above can regulate eukaryotic genes.

9) Which of the following are NOT inducers of their respective operons? Choose all that apply.
A. Allolactose
B. Lactose
C. Arabinose
D. Tryptophan

10) The lac operon has three structural genes: lacZ,Y, and A.  Of the three genes, which is not necessary for lactose utilization?
A. lacY
B. lacZ
C. lacA
D. All three genes are necessary for lactose utilization.

11) Topoisomerase I cuts two strands of DNA, whereas topoisomerase II cuts one strand.
A. True
B. False

12) Which of the following is an example of control of gene expression at the DNA level in eukaryotes?
A. Barr bodies
B. DNA rearrangement
C. Methylation
D. All of the above occur in eukaryotes to control gene expression

13) There are more varieties of antibodies than there are genes to encode them.
A. True
B. False

14) DNA gyrase uses ATP to cut DNA.
A. True
B. False

Thanks for answering the other ones yourself. Here are my answers:
1) Prokaryotic genes are organized in a polycistronic manner
A. True (not in all cases, but often)

2) In the lac operon, LacI repressor unbinds DNA because of the presence of
C. Allolactose
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lac_operon

3) If a culture of E. coli is growing in media containing equal amounts of glucose and lactose, the lac operon will be expressed at high levels.
B. False (it is expressed but at low levels)

4) A mutation in the lacI gene causes a non-functional LacI protein to be made. This mutated LacI can not bind the operator, so the operon is constitutively on.
A.True

8) Eukaryotic genes are regulated by all of the following EXCEPT:
D. All of the above can regulate eukaryotic genes.

10) The lac operon has three structural genes: lacZ,Y, and A. Of the three genes, which is not necessary for lactose utilization?
C. lacA

12) Which of the following is an example of control of gene expression at the DNA level in eukaryotes?
D. All of the above occur in eukaryotes to control gene expression

13) There are more varieties of antibodies than there are genes to encode them.
A. True

14) DNA gyrase uses ATP to cut DNA.
A. True
